On October 18, 2005, the associates of Gould Evans, an architecture firm in downtown Lawrence, KS, spent the day working on the front lawn of the KU Spencer Art Museum. The event coincided with the Lee Friedlander WORK exhibit inside. The Gould Evans crew spent the day expressing ideas for an upcoming renovation of their own offices. Each person in the office had a 4 ft x 4 ft square to fill with their ideas about what their workspace should be like. The group of squares is shown below.
